Becoming Airborne: a daily attempt to stay grounded

Bankley Exchanges is a series of exhibitions bringing together artists from studio groups in neighbouring cities, and exploring their work in relation to one another. The first edition featured Charlotte Dawson (S1, Sheffield), Naomi Harwin (Paradise Works, Manchester) and Karanjit Panesar (Serf, Leeds). After conducting group visits to each of the artists’ studios, we began to develop an idea of an exhibition that recognised the various crossovers in their works, and also the things they explore uniquely. Our conversations and research were presented as a venn diagram, which can be used as a way to encounter the exhibition.
